SHOULD I BRING MY PET’S FOOD?
Yes, we prefer that you bring your pet’s food to ensure a positive and stress-free stay at Trail’s Edge. Keeping your dog on their regular diet will reduce stress and help prevent stomach upset. Please let us know if your dog has any allergies.

WHAT IF MY PET REQUIRES MEDICATION?
We are happy to administer any medication needed. Please bring all medications in their original containers with instructions from the prescribing Veterinarian.

WHAT VACCINATIONS DOES MY PET NEED TO STAY AT TRAIL’S EDGE?
We require up-to-date vaccination against Rabies, Bordetella, DA2PP (Distemper, Adenovirus type 2, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus).

CAN I BRING MY DOG’S BED AND TOYS?
You are welcome to bring your dog’s personal belongings, please note that even dogs who do not chew their beds at home may be stressed and do so in the kennel environment. Do not bring anything that you would be sad to not have returned. We are happy to provide blankets and toys to keep your dog comfortable during their stay. We will do our best to return all blankets and toys to you, but we are not responsible for lost or damaged items.

ARE RESERVATIONS REQUIRED TO STAY AT TRAIL’S EDGE?
Yes, we book up very quickly during summer months and over holidays so please try and make reservations as soon as you know which dates you will require boarding services.

WHAT TIME IS DROP OFF AND PICK UP HOURS?
Trail’s Edge runs by scheduled drop off and pick up times, please let us know a time frame of when you expect to pick up/drop off between 7:30am - 7:30pm.

IS MY DOG GOING TO BE STUCK IN A CAGE THE WHOLE TIME?
Absolutely not! Trail’s Edge has 10 spacious runs, 8 with indoor and outdoor access. The kennel has a perimeter fence around the building where dogs can walk/run/play around and do their business. Trail’s Edge is situated on 159 acres with trails running through the property, it is a dog’s paradise and we take them out several times per day to enjoy the trails and nature.
